 Purpose:

 To provide a group within the parish devoted to prayer, worship and service.

 Membership:

 Open to all women and men who are members and friends of Trinity Episcopal Church in Lumberton, North Carolina.

 Activities: 

·       Develop, lead and accomplish Days of Recollection.

·       Educate parishioners about Spiritual Development.

·       Participate and lead in services of prayer.

·       Participate and lead in services of healing.

·       Provide prayer vigils.

·       Pray daily for Parish, Community, Nation, and World.

·       Support other parish groups.

·       Serve and support community and ecumenical programs.

·       Provide material to parish about world-wide Anglican societies.

·       Regular attendance at Worship and reception of the Holy Eucharist.

Those who are members of this society within in the parish will not meet as a group except to plan events, programs and support for groups of the parish and community.  Members may individually join various Anglican devotional and service societies as they desire but the parish society will not be affiliated with any specific group.  A person will be designated by the rector as the coordinator of the society.  The priority of the society will be prayer and service.
